Javea
Javea is located about 45 minutes drive north of Benidorm. Javea has a few main areas.
- Arenal Beach, Javea - The Arenal beach is the sandy beach area of Jave and is where most tourists and Javea locals head for during the summer months. The Arenal beach is also a great place for the bars and nightlife in Javea with bars such as the Champagne bar and clubs like Achill and La Noche.
- Javea PortJavea Port has many small bars and cafes and offer great view across the port out to the Med. On a clear day you can see Ibiza from here, as Javea has the destinction of being the closest point of mainland Spain to the Balearics.
- The Old town of Javea - The old town is where you'll find the Javea market on a Thursday morning. It also has many Spanish Tapas bars and small cafe bars and is worth a look around.
Javea is the closest point on mainland Spain to Ibiza. It may be due to this that many of the bars have that Balearic feel to them, with cool chill out beats and open terraces.
