Cala de Finestrat (La Cala), Benidorm
La Cala de Finestrat is a small bay just to the west of Benidorm. It is actually divided between the towns of Finestrat and Vilajioyosa. Most people would now consider it as part of Benidorm because Benidorm has now grown right down to the borders of Cala Finestrat. Infact, one of the gretaest symbols of Benidorm, the Hotel Gran Bali is actually in the Cala de Finestrat.
La Cala Finestrat Beach
La Cala, as it's known has a small beach, which can get very popular in the summer months. There are many bars and restaurants in La Cala Finestrat of all nationalities. Whether you prefer Spanish tapas, traditional English food, or something a little more up market La Cala Finestrat has it all.
Apartments in La Cala Finestrat
There are many excelent apartments in la Cala to choose from:- including the Atrium Beach apartments (Atrium beach are high rise apartments).
Up the hill to on the west side of the beach are hundreds of new apartments, which are very modern and have really up the stakes for accomodation in the Benidorm area. Each apartment block has it's own pool area, some with sports and gym facilitiies and most have views of the Mediterranean. Most of these new apartments are on the Vilajioyosa side of La Cala, which has stricter planning laws, so they are mostly medium-rise apartments on this side.
