Mallorca Guide
Palma is the capital city of Mallorca and of the Provincial region of the Balearic islands. Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands, and is well known for its beaches, climate and culture (not to mention the nightlife).
The warm climate of Mallorca makes it a popular destination in all seasons. You can spend time relaxing on the beaches of Magaluf or Santa Ponsa, or stroll by the waterfront of Palma with its colourful fishing boats and luxurious yachts.
For energetic days out, you can take part in many activities such as windsurfing, horseriding, waterskiing, golf, or spend a day at Aquacity, one of Mallorca’s largest waterparks. You may also want to try out one of the many fine restaurants by Palma marina and sample some of the local cuisine and finish off the evening in one of Palma’s lively bars, discos and clubs.
Palma’s Bay has something for everyone, from designer shops on the Avinguda del Rei Jaume Ill to gypsy markets. Or on Saturdays you can visit the Baratillo, the city’s famous bustling flea market.
If you are staying in the Magaluf or Palma Nova area, you are more likely there for the beach and the nightlife. So don’t miss out on one of Europes hottest clubs - The world famous BCM. BCM is host to many top DJs and is renowned for it’s wild foam parties.
