Albir

Albir is the beach area of Alfaz del Pi. Albir is located just 10mins away from Benidorm and can make a relaxing day out.

Albir has plenty of classy bars and restaurants that you can visit as you walk along the beach front. The beach in Albir, although pebble and not sand is a lovely relaxing place to spend the afternoon and is much quieter than most of the beaches in Benidorm itself.

You can reach Albir easily by bus from Benidorm (bus route 10). The buses are marked as Altea. A taxi ride back from Altea is only about 10 Euros if you are staying in the Rincon/ Levante area of Benidorm.

If you walk from Albir and head up the promenade, you will be heading towards Altea. This is a nice walk and will take you about 1/2 an hour (or as long as you want). You will pass by some very interesting bars and restaurants including; The Hotel Cactus, The Ritz, Country Ribs and the world famous Cafe del Mar. Cafe del Mar is open late into the night and is a great experience, if you like the Ibiza vibe.

Continuing in this direction will pass by the Marina and then you will be directly behind Altea town.
